F. Hopkinson Smith, author and engineer, will speak on "Old Plantation Days" in the Living Room of the Union tomorrow evening at 8 o'clock. Only members of the Union will be admitted.
Mr. Smith was educated as a mechanical engineer. He built the Race Rock lighthouse off New London and laid the foundation for the Statue of Liberty in New York harbor. He has also an established reputation as an artist.
