The board track on Soldiers Field is being prepared for the fall and winter work of the track team and will be ready for use sometime next week. It will be 130 yards to the lap, the same length as the track of the Boston Athletic Association in Mechanics Hall, Boston. There will also be a 50-yard straight away entirely independent of the circular track.
