A. Whitman Won Consolation Run

The consolation cross-country run, held yesterday afternoon over the 5-mile Chestnut Hill course, was won by A. Whitman '11. W. F. Ryan '11 was second, and C. W. Whitall '13 was third. At the end of the first lap Ryan was leading, with Whitman, Tugman and Whitall following closely in the order mentioned. Whitman sprinted in the second lap and finished eight seconds ahead of Ryan, in the very good time of 34 minutes. C. W. Whitall '13 was third, and W. M. Tugman '14 was fourth. Cups for first and second places will be awarded to Whitman and Ryan respectively.
