Practice for the class football teams will begin on Soldiers Field this afternoon. Candidates should report dressed to play, to the captains of their respective teams at the Locker Building at 3.30 o'clock. No man will be eligible who has played on the University squad, or who is a regular or first substitute on the second team.
The following men have been appointed captains: Seniors, R. C. Floyd; Juniors, C. N. Browne; Sophomores, C. M. Makepeace. A schedule will be arranged by the class captains.
This year the Freshmen will be represented in the series by the second Freshman team. The Seniors will meet the Juniors, and the Sophomores the Freshmen, the winners playing for the championship. Numerals will be awarded the members of the winning team, and if the Freshmen win they will receive their numerals in their class colors.
