The Publication Office will issue this afternoon the University Directory, a catalogue of all living graduates and undergraduates. It will contain the names, degrees, occupations, and addresses of men who have been students in any department of the University long enough to have their names entered in any annual catalogue.
The volume has been compiled chiefly through the efforts of J. D. Greene '96, formerly secretary to the Corporation, who spent six years in gathering data for it. He sent inquiries to the 32,188 men whose names the Directory contains, and received replies from over 29,000.
The price of the book is $2, with an additional charge for postage. Copies may be obtained at the Publication Office, 2 University Hall, and at the office of the Alumni Association, 50 State street, Boston.
