The second Freshman football team defeated the Sophomores yesterday afternoon by the score of 12 to 0. The Sophomores started well by recovering the kick-off and rushing the ball to their opponent's 5-yard line. Here an uncompleted forward pass gave the ball to the Freshmen.

At the beginning of the second half the Freshmen braced and after several long runs by Handy and Tyler, the latter succeeded in making a touchdown. In the fourth period the Freshmen made their victory more decisive when Bright scored on a well executed forward pass from Handy, after Hoogs had made an unsuccessful attempt at a field-goal. Beebe, Handy and Tyler played well for the winners.
