NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Three Freshman crews were at work on the river yesterday under the direction of Coach Wray, who followed in a single. The first crew rowed in the same order as Tuesday, while in the second boat, Hubbard and Metcalf, who rowed bow and 3, respectively, Tuesday, changed places. The third crew was sent out for the first time.

The first two crews showed improvement over their previous work, which was especially noticeable in the way in which the men got together. The third crew is made up of less experienced men and did not show up well in the practice yesterday.

The orders:

First crew--Stroke Chanler; 7, Morgan; 6, Blanchard; 5, Converse; 4, Curtis; 3, Hilliard; 2, Trumbull; bow, Henry; cox., Roosevelt.

Second crew--Stroke, Edwards; 7, Putnam; 6, Harrower; 5, Reynolds; 4, Taylor; 3, Hubbard; 2, Storms; bow, Metcalf; cox., Carson.

Third crew--Stroke, Salomon; 7, Woodward; 6, Carver; 5, Borst; 4, Lamb; 3, Squibb; 2, Wentworth; bow, Leland; cox., Nelson.
