Cross-Country Team Leaves Today

The University cross-country team will leave for the intercollegiate cross-country meet at Princeton, New Jersey, on the Colonial Express from the Back Bay Station this morning at 8.03. The following men will make the trip: C. W. Burrage '13, F. D. Everett '11, H. L. Groves'12, H. Jaques, Jr., '11, H. P. Lawless '13, S. Nichols '13, E. L. Viets '11, P. R. Withington '12, Assistant Manager P. Blair '12, Coach Alfred Shrubb, and Rubber Walker,

The team will stay until the race, at the Trenton House, Trenton, New Jersey, which will be reached in time for dinner this evening. Tomorrow the members of the team will walk over the six-mile course in order to acquaint themselves with it before the run, which will start Saturday morning at 11 o'clock.

In the race, each college or university will be represented by seven men, the first five to finish to score. The University team will probably compete as follows: Burrage, Groves, Jaques, Lawless, Nichols, Viets and Withington. In case Jaques, who has been slightly ill for the last few days, does not run, his place will be taken by Everett.
