P. Withington '09 to Aid Mr. Garcelon

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Word has just been received from Paul Withington '09, that he will accept the position of Assistant Graduate Manager of Harvard Athletics under W. F. Garcelon L.'95. He will arrive from Honolulu, where he is at present, in time to take up his duties on October 20. As assistant to Mr. Garcelon he will be especially valuable, for he has been connected with University teams during the past few years and will appreciate the undergraduate opinion on many points far better than any man who graduated several years ago. He will be of great assistance in helping the football team and crew, though it is not definitely known how much time he can give to coaching.

Paul Withington graduated at mid-years last year. He played centre on the football team, rowed two years on the University crew and captained the swimming team while in College, and at the same time was heavy-weight amateur wrestling champion of New England. He is a brother of Lothrop Withington '11, captain of the University football team.
