Dr. Horace M. Kallen '03, of the Department of Philosophy, will give the first of a series of twelve lectures on Pragmatism, in Emerson F, this afternoon at 4 o'clock. The special subject of today's lecture will be "The Scientific and Ethical Background of Pragmatism." It will be open to members of the University and of Radcliffe.
