In the practice game of the University baseball team held yesterday afternoon on Soldiers Field, Team B defeated Team A by the score of 9 to 7. All the pitchers used were hit freely, and the game was marred by frequent errors. McLaughlin and Hovery led in batting, each getting three hits out of five times up.
