Boston Arena Nearing Completion

Considerable progress was made in the construction of the Boston Arena during the Christmas recess. It is now thought that the skating rink will be flooded in time for the intercollegiate game between Dartmouth and Columbia on January 20. Five of the steel roof trusses have been swung into place and the brick walls on the south and east sides have been completed. The foundations for the ice plant have been laid and the columns of the lobby set up. Work on the lobby and the dressing rooms, however, will to be rushed until the rink and the enclosure is more nearly finished. It is expected that the entire structure will be completed toward the end of March.
