1913 Crew Practice Begins Tomorrow

By J. E. Waid .

Voluntary practice for candidates for the Freshman crew will begin tomorrow. Coach Wray will be at the Newell boathouse every afternoon except Saturday, and will devote particular attention to men who have had little or no rowing experience. Candidates will start on the machines, but will be advanced to the tank according to ability.

Though the present call is primarily intended for inexperienced men, all who intend coming out for the crew are urged to avail themselves of this opportunity for individual coaching. E. C. Bacon, who will have charge of Freshman rowing until a captain is elected, will assist Coach Wray, and other members of the University crew will also be present every afternoon, so that all who report are assured of close attention.

The regular call will come on Monday, February 14, directly after the mid-year examinations.
