In case the ice is in suitable condition today, the Freshman hockey team will play the third game of its schedule with St. Mark's School at Southboro this afternoon. The game with the Brae Burn Country Club which was scheduled for this afternoon has been postponed until January 29, to take the place of the game with St. Mark's announced for that day. In their first two games the Freshmen have been defeated by the Rindge Manual Training School by the score of 3 to 1, and have been victorious over Noble and Greenough, 2 to 1.
Practice has been held as regularly as the ice would allow, but the development of real team-play has been slow. In shooting and in passing the members of the team have also showed much inaccuracy. As there are only four games remaining on the Freshman schedule before the game with the Yale freshmen on February 12, considerable progress will have to be made within the next few days.
The Freshman line-up follows: l.e., Pratt; l.c., Locke; r.c., Rusmore; r.e., Palmer; c.p., Booth; p., Graustein; g., Gardner.
