To make use of one's rights in such a way as not to annoy others is the fundamental principle upon which all civilized society is built. Many of those who attended the concert in the Yard last evening, in the expectation of deriving pleasure from one of the few opportunities of hearing the Glee Club to advantage, went away disappointed solely because of the rowdyism of certain persons in Thayer Hall. Such a violation of the principle not only is against good breeding, but is contemptibly selfish.
