Progress of Trials for Golf Team

The trial matches for the University golf team played yesterday at the Oakley Country Club resulted as follows: P. M. Smith '11 defeated McK. Hollins '11, 2 up to 1 to play; M. MacArthur '10 defeated H. C. Clark '11, 1 up to 19 holes; A. M. Crosby '11 defeated C. L. Nichols '10, 2 up; C. H. Burton '09 defeated W. C. Bowers '10, 6 up and 4 to play; W. B. Durant '10 defeated S. W. Cooper '09, 6 up and 4 to play; H. Morris '10 defeated F. R. Estabrook '10, 1 up on 20 holes; J. T. Nightingale '10 defeated A. W. Fletcher '10, 2 up and 1 to play; R. Hornblower '11 defeated W. W. Bodine '10, 5 up and 4 to play; W. P. Rogers '11 defeated S. D. Bush '09, 1 up; N. Harrower '09 defeated S. W. Sargent '11, 1 up on 19 holes.

The following matches have been arranged for today; McK. Hollins '11 vs. N. Harrower '09, S. W. Sargent '11 vs. M. MacArthur '10, H. C. Clark '11 vs. P. M. Smith '11, A. M. Crosby '11 vs. F. A. Reece '09, R. T. Lee '09 vs. C. L. Nichols '10, W. W. Bodine '10 vs. W. P. Rogers '11, S. D. Bush '09 vs. S. W. Cooper '09.

Results and medal scores must be left in Claverly 57 before 7 o'clock.
