Trials for Speakers' Club Cups at 8

The trials for the two cups presented anonymously to the Speakers' Club will be held in the New Lecture Hall this evening at 8 o'clock. The cups will be awarded to the two members of the club making the best ten-minute speeches. At the trials this evening each contestant will make an original five-minute speech on any subject, preferably one of University interest. One-third of the contestants will be retained and the finals, consisting of ten-minutes speeches under the same conditions, will be held on Tuesday evening, May 18.
