The golf matches of the championship of the University and the consolation medals, played yesterday at the Oakley Country Club resulted as follows: championship--A. H. Shaw 1G. defeated B. W. Corkran 21 3 up and 2 to play; H. H. Wilder '09 defeated McK. Hollins '11, 6 up and 4 to play; S. W. Sargent '11 defeated R. Hornblower '11, 4 up and 3 to-play; consolation-H. C. Clark '11 defeated M. MacArthur '10, 3 up and 2 to play; W. F. Morgan '10 defeated T. M. Claflin by default; A. M. Crosby '11 to play: T. A. E. Harris '12 defeated F. T. Clark '12, 4 up and 3 to play.

The following matches will be played today: championship--A. H. Shaw 1G. vs. H. H. Wilder '09; S. W. Sargent '11 vs. P. M. Smith '11: consolation--H. C. Clark '11 vs. W. F. Morgan '10; A. M. Crosby '11 vs. T. A. E. Harris '12.
