The results of the matches played yesterday in the trials for the University tennis team are as follows: J. M. Eaton defeated E. P. Pearson, 6-4, 6-4; S. P. Henshaw defeated S. Eiseman, 6-2, 10-8; T. B. Dorman defeated G. A. Gordon, 6-1, 7-5; M. T. Ackerland defeated M. Wertheim, 4-6, 6-4, 6-3; S. W. Howland defeated H. E. Straw, 8-6, 6-1; K. S. Johnson defeated W. H. Y. Hackett, 6-3, 7-5; A. M. Harlow defeated W. Wadsworth, 6-2, 7-5; C. C. Pell defeated J. M. Morse, 6-4, 6-3.
The following matches will be played today. All results must be handed in to R. N. Smither, Matthews 1, by the winners of the matches before 6 o'clock on the day of play:
