1912 Lost First Lacrosse Game

The Freshman lacrosse team lost the first game of its schedule to the Brooklyn Boys' High School on Soldiers Field Saturday afternoon, by the score of 6 to 2. In spite of the slippery condition of the field the Brooklyn team was fast and excelled in team-play. In stick work and general knowledge of the game Brooklyn was also superior to the Freshmen. The Freshmen played well individually, particularly in the first half, which was closely contested, ending with the score 3 to 2 in favor of the Brooklyn team.
