Interclass Tennis Match Results

The second round of the interclass tennis tournament, which was played on Jarvis Field yesterday, resulted as follows:

1909--J. A. Locke defeated S. F. Kimball, 9-7, 6-4, and was defeated by S. W. Kinyon, 6-3, 6-2; G. G. Pervear defeated J. W. Cutler, by default; M. W. Morrill defeated F. Cutting, by default.

1910--F. Kirkland defeated J. D. Foot, 6-1, 2-6, 8-6; R. H. Smith defeated F. H. Hall, 6-2, 6-2; G. C. Adams defeated P. T. Large, 6-2, 7-5; H. M. Suckley defeated S. P. Hall, 11-9, 6-2; T. B. Townsend defeated H. Peters, 4-6, 9-7, 6-2; E. L. Beard defeated R. M. Lane, 6-2, 6-3; W. P. Fuller defeated C. W. Rice, 6-8, 9-7, 6-4; C. M. Garrett defeated T. J. Newbold, by default.

1911--A. Sweetser defeated C. E. Cotting, 6-1, 6-3; F. F. A. Pearson defeated J. R. Tunis, 6-4, 8-6; H. Nickerson defeated W. S. Jackson, 6-0, 6-1; I. S. Joseph defeated E. M. Ach, by default.

1912--L. D. Grinnell defeated A. Baltzly, 6-4, 6-0; R. J. Eaton defeated I. C. Bolton, by default; Y. Arai defeated P. Gifford, 6-2, 6-2; J. A. Simpson defeated H. R. Bowser, 6-3, 6-1; C. S. Cutting defeated R. C. Piper, 6-1, 6-1; C. N. Browne defeated A. J. Goldsmith, 7-5, 6-2; C. M. Storey defeated W. K. Macy, 6-1, 2-6, 7-5; J. R. Pratt defeated G. D. Osgood, 3-6, 6-3, 6-3.

The following matches have been arranged for today. The Senior and Sophomore tournaments have reached the semi-finals, while the Juniors and Freshmen will play their third round today. Results must be posted before 6 o'clock on the score card in the CRIMSON Office by the winners.
