INTER-SCHOOL TACK MEET

This afternoon t 2.30 o'clock the twenty-fourth annual outdoor Harvard Interscholastic track meet will be held in the Stadium. First place will count five points, second three, and third one, and medals will be awarded to the winners of the first three places. The school which wins the largest number of points will have the privilege of holding for one year the large trophy cup offered by the Boston Athletic association and Harvard graduates. Worcester Academy, which won the meet by one point last year, is now the holder of the cup.

The Union will be open to all the contestants after 11 o'clock this morning and there will be some one there to answer questions. After the meet, at 5.30 o'clock, a dinner will be given the competitors in the Assembly Room. L. K. Lunt '09 will preside and present the point winners with their medals.

There are 141 entries, made by 17 schools, as against 180 entries by 19 schools last year, and 200 entries from 25 schools the year before. The meet promises to be close, with Exeter and Worcester Academy as the favorites.

The schools represented are as follows: Andover, Allen Brookline High, Brown and Nichols, Cambridge Latin, Deering High, Exeter, Lowell Textile, Malden High, Mechanics Arts High, Newton High, Rindge Manual Training, Roxbury High, Roxbury Latin, Waban, West Roxbury High, and Worcester Academy.

Soldiers Field will be closed to all except ticket holders at 2 o'clock this afternoon. Tickets at 50 cents each may be obtained at Leavitt & Peirce's in Cambridge, and at Wright & Ditson's in Boston.
