Golf Team Lost First Match

In its first match of the season the University golf team was defeated yesterday by the Brookline Country Club, 4 to 2. The match was played on the club links in Brookline. P. M. Smith '11 and P. W. Whittemore made the best scores of the day, doing the 18-hole course in 77. H. C. Clark '11 played instead of H. H. Wilder '09, who was not able to play on account of illness.
