Exeter won the dual track meet with the Freshmen Saturday at Exeter by the score of 61 1-2 to 46 1-2. The Freshmen did not show up so well as was expected, and they were particularly weak in the field events.
The mile run was closely contested between Lacey and Jones; Jones won by a hard sprint at the finish in the good time of 4 minutes, 39 3-5 seconds. Burns excelled for Exeter, winning the 100-yard dash in 10 seconds, and the 220-yard dash in 22 1-5 seconds. Dupont did the best for the Freshmen, winning both hurdles.
