At a meeting of the class crews held in the Weld Boat Club yesterday afternoon Gilbert Butler, of Utica, N. Y., was elected captain of the Senior crew; Grinnell Martin, of New York City, captain of the Junior crew; and Robert Sanford Jowett, of Dorchester, captain of the Sophomore crew. In his Freshman year Butler rowed on the four-oar against Yale, and since then he has rowed on his class crew. Martin was on his Freshman squad for the greater part of the season and last year he stroked the Sophomore crew. Jowett rowed on his Freshman four last spring and at present is rowing No. 7 in the Sophomore boat.
