At a meeting of the class crews held in the Weld Boat Club yesterday afternoon Gilbert Butler, of Utica, N. Y., was elected captain of the Senior crew; Grinnell Martin, of New York City, captain of the Junior crew; and Robert Sanford Jowett, of Dorchester, captain of the Sophomore crew. In his Freshman year Butler rowed on the four-oar against Yale, and since then he has rowed on his class crew.
