REVIEW OF SPRING FOOTBALL

Squad Divided into Four Divisions Under Separate Captains and Coaches.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Spring football practice has been held regularly for the past week. Last week the work was entirely confined to the fundamentals, starting, tackling, kicking, and falling on the ball. There have been a number of Senior class coaches on the field, each of whom has had charge of a division of the squad.

Yesterday the candidates were divided into four squads. These teams will practice under separate coaches and later play a number of games. The first scrimmage will be held in a few days. The following are the captains and coaches of the four teams: Team A--H.F. Corbett '11, captain; F. Cutting '09, C.J. Nourse '09, and M.D. Robinson '09, coaches; Team B--S. Galatti '10, captain; B. Moore '08 and V.P. Kennard '09, coaches; Team C--F.H. Burrage '10, captain; R.V. White '09, and E.F. Ver Wiebe '09, coaches; Team D--R.M. Page '10, captain; H.Gray '09 and L.L. Forcheimer '09, coaches. A list of the members of each team has been posted in the Locker Building. Everyone is expected to report regularly, for the practice from now on is especially important.
