The fourth cut in the Freshman baseball squad was made last Saturday. The following 31 men have been retained and are expected to report for practice this afternoon at 3 o'clock: Babson, Baker, Blackhall, Blodgett, I. Bolton, N. Bolton, Campbell, Clifford, Conant, Curtiss, Cutting, Davidson, Desha, Ernst, Flint, Gibson, Hanks, Howe, Kelly, Kennedy, McLean, Potter, Reeves, Robinson, Sjostrom, Wigglesworth, Wightman, deWindt, Winston, Woodward, Young.
The Freshman squad has held regular outdoor practice since March 25. Two teams of seven men each have been picked and a game has been played each day, the batteries working for both sides. Since the first outdoor practice on March 15 a decided improvement in the work of the squad has been shown, and the fielding of the men is much better. Among the pitchers, Babson and Ernst have done especially good work.
A training table will be started immediately after the spring vacation.
