Success of Co-operative Society

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The number of members in the Harvard Co-operative Society is now 2,438, a gain of eighteen over the corresponding period last year. In spite of the general unfavorable business conditions prevailing, the Co-operative has been steadily gaining in business, the book department showing a remarkable increase over last year of $8,156. A fact which conclusively proves the success the Society has attained is the number of inquiries received by the superintendent from other colleges concerning its organization and methods, and it is interesting to know that the Society is the largest and most successful organization of its kind.
