PRESIDENT ELIOT IN SANDERS

Address on "Education as a Career" is the Last to Undergraduates.

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

President Eliot will deliver an address in Sanders Theatre this evening at 8 o'clock on "Education as a Career." This is the last of the series of six Union lectures on professions which has been running through the year. The lecture being under the auspices of the Union, Major Henry Lee Higginson '55 will introduce the speaker, provided he has sufficiently recovered from his late illness; if not, C. P. Gardner '10 will preside.

There have been very few opportunities this year for the University to hear President Eliot, and as his resignation goes into effect in about five weeks, this is positively the last time that he will speak to the students in his official capacity.

The lecture is open only to officers and students of the University. Seats on the platform will be reserved for members of the Governing Boards and the Faculties.

The following have been appointed to act as ushers and are requested to be at Sanders Theatre at 7.30 sharp: F. H. Burr '09, A. G. Cable '09, E. P. Currier '09, E. C. Cutler '09, L. K. Lunt '09, R. M. Middlemass '09, W. M. Rand '09, E. C. Bacon '10, R. C. Brown '10, H. Fish, Jr., '10, S. A. Sargent '10, P. Wyman '10, H. Jacques '11, E. Harding '11, G. H. Balch '12.
