The University football schedule for 1909, as announced by Captain Fish yesterday, contains nine games, one less than last year. Carlisle, Annapolis and Springfield Training School have been dropped, and West Point and Cornell added. The West Point game will necessitate the only absence form Cambridge. Harvard played West Point last in 1906 and won, 5 to 0. Cornell appeared last on the schedule in 1897, when the University team won, 24 to 0. The schedule for next fall subject to the approval of the Athletic Committee is as follows:

October 2--Bowdoin.

October 6--Bates.

October 9--Williams.

October 16--University of Maine.

October 23--Brown.

October 30--West Point at West Point.

November 6--Cornell.

November 13--Dartmouth.

November 20--Yale.
