The interclass lacrosse series began yesterday afternoon, when the Juniors defeated the Seniors by the score of 4 to 3. An extra period was necessary to decide the game. The Juniors will play the Sophomores tomorrow and if the Juniors win, the Sophomores will play the Seniors on Monday. Individual cups have been provided by the graduate players for the members of the winning team, who will also receive their class lacrosse numerals. The winners of the series will play the Freshmen later in the season for the class championship.
Following is the summary of yesterday's game:     Score--Juniors, 4; Seniors, 3.  Goals--Sampson 2, R.P. Smith, Judd, S. Smith, Currie, Cochrane.  Referee--M. Waide '10.  Goal umpires--D. Munro '11, J.L. Eisner '11.  Timekeepers--F.H. Parker '10, H.S. Bailey '11.  Time--20 and 15-minute periods.
