Professor E. D. Peters '77 will deliver an illustrated lecture on "The Conquest of the Matterhorn" under the auspices of the Mining Club, in the Fogg Museum this evening at 8 o'clock. The lecture, which will be open to the public, will be illustrated with lantern slides made from drawings by Mr. Edward Whymper, who reached the summit of the Matterhorn after several unsuccessful attempts.
