The novice chess tournament postponed from last Monday will begin today in Grays 20. On account of the large number of entries the men will be divided into sections, two men from each section being eligible to continue in the second round. All who have entered will be notified concerning the time of their games and the result of the drawings. Cups will be awarded the winner and runner-up by the chess team management.
