The University basketball team lost the second game with Brown at Providence Saturday, by the score of 37 to 14. Brown was far superior in all branches of the game, but played roughly and had many fouls called on her. Captain Regnier was put out of the game for making five fouls.
Brown started with a rush and shot often. Regnier soon scored the first basket from the floor, and others followed in quick succession. When Swaffield went in for Johnson the play became faster and was in the University team's territory constantly. The half ended with the score standing 17 to 2 in Brown's favor.
In the second half Newton, Wellman and Miller were substituted for Moody. Currie and Webber respectively, but still Brown continued to score. McKay and Sprackling scored often toward the end of the game, and kept Harvard on the defensive.
