In the final game of its schedule on Saturday afternoon the Freshman hockey team was defeated by the Yale freshmen by the score of 3 to 2. Because of the poor condition of the ice in the Stadium the game was played at St. Paul's School, Concord, N. H. Harvard led, 2 to 1, at the end of the first period, but weakened later in the game. During the first few minutes of the game, the Freshmen repeatedly carried the puck the length of the rink, only to lose it in the scrimmage around the cage. Whidden made the first goal, which was soon followed by a score by Loutrel, who played left centre on the Yale freshman team. In the last few minutes of play, Pierce made the second, goal for the Freshmen. In the second half, the Freshman defence was broken through and Yale scored two goals in rapid succession. The winning goal was allowed by the umpire on a close decision, as there was some doubt whether the puck entered the cage.

Huntington at point played a splendid game throughout, while Pratt at right end did the best work for the forwards. For Yale Loutrel at left centre was conspicuous.
