Mr. H. M. Kallen '03, an assistant in philosophy in the University, will give the first of a series of ten lectures on "Pragmatism and the Meaning of Good," in Emerson H this afternoon at 4.30 o'clock. His special topic today will be "Logic and Experience," and he will present other phases of the subject on Monday and Thursday afternoons in March. These lectures are authorized by the Faculty under a vote of the Corporation in 1897 providing for special instruction in some branch of philosophy by a member of that department.

The lectures will be open to members of the University and of Radcliffe College.
