With the resumption of baseball work yesterday afternoon, batting practice was held for the first time. A cut was made to take effect today, and from now on the following men will compose the fielding squad: E. Angell '11, R. H. Aronson '10, R. W. Atkins '10, T. Briggs '09, F. H. Burr '09, J. P. Carr '11, C. A. Chase '11, G. W. Chase '11, T. H. Clark '09, S.B. Comstock Sp., D. Crocker '10, E. T. Dana '09, F. L. Foster '10, R. P. Frye '11, F. P. Ferguson '10, R. M. Hall '10, J. C. Hamlen '09, C. Hann, Jr., '11, A. Harvey '11, C. W. Harvey '09, R. Haydock '10, W. A. Lawrence '11, H. McCall '09, C. B. McLaughlin '11, R. S. Marshall '10, W. M. Minot '11, J. B. Newton '10, J. A. Paine '09, W. J. O'Connell '11, L. W. Rowley '09, J. W. Simons '09, P. S. Twitchell '11, J. M. Taylor '11, J. C. Wilby '10. This squad will practice at 2.30 o'clock.
The battery candidates will continue to practice in two squads as announced in last Friday's CRIMSON. The first squad will report at 2.15 and the second at 2.45. All the Freshman battery candidates will practice with the Freshman squad at 4 o'clock, excepting R. C. Babson, T. J. Campbell, J. M. Howe, and H. E. Reeves, who will continue with the University team for a while longer.
