Lincoln Steffens Speaks on Radicals

Mr. J. Lincoln Steffens will speak on "Present Day Opportunities for Radicals" under the auspices of the Socialist Club in Emerson F this evening at 8 o'clock. The lecture will be open to the public as well as to members of the University.

Mr. Steffens was graduated from the University of California in 1889. He has studied at the Universities of Berlin, Heidelberg, Leipzig, Paris and the Sorbonne. He was for a time assistant city editor of the New York Evening Post, and has also been city editor of the New York Commercial Advertiser, and managing editor of McClure's Magazine. At present he is associate editor of the American Magazine. Among the books he has written are "The Shame of the Cities" and "The Struggle for Self Government."
