The Freshman baseball season started yesterday afternoon when 51 candidates reported to Coach C. D. Moss '09 for the first practice. Practice will be held in the Cage regularly from now on until the weather is suitable for out-door work. The Freshman pitchers and catchers have been practicing with the University battery candidates since February 1, and will continue to do so for a while longer. The other candidates will be given only light fielding work for the next few days.
