The University basketball squad held two long periods of practice yesterday under the direction of Coach Grebenstein, in which the University team defeated the second by the score of 39 to 31. The playing of the forwards on both teams was superior to that of the defence, as shown by the large score. An improvement in passing and shooting was shown, Miller and Wellman doing good work in this line.
