Mr. Henry Clews, a prominent New York banker and author of several authoritative books on finance will speak on "Individualism" in the Living Room of the Union tomorrow evening at 8 o'clock. The lecture will be open only to members of the Union.
Mr. Clews was born in Strafordshire, England, and entered mercantile life in New York at the age of 15. At the outbreak of the civil war he was asked by thee Secretary of the Treasury to act as the government's agent in thee sale of United States bonds. In 1877 he organized the firm of Henry Clews and Company and since then has been connected with many financial corporations on Wall street. He is the author of "Twenty-eight years in Wall Street" and "The Wall Street Point of View."
