Fencing Team Defeated in New York

The Harvard Fencer's Club was defeated by the New York Fencer's Club 5 to 1 in a tournament held at the French Y. M. C. A. of New York Saturday evening. The occasion was the third annual competition for medals offered by the French organization for the best amateur junior team, each team being composed of three men.

The results of the matches were as follows:

Hall, N. Y. F. C., defeated J. A. McLaughlin '11; Haas, N. Y. F. C., defeated G. B. Wilbur '12; Cairns, N. Y. F. C., defeated J. M. Moore '11; Hall, N. Y. F. C. defeated J. M. Moore '11; Haas, N. Y. F. C., defeated J. A. McLaughlin '11; G. B. Wilbur '12 defeated Cairns, N. Y. F. C. Total score--New York Fencer's Club 5, Harvard Fencer's Club 1.
