The committee to select the Rhodes scholar at Oxford from Massachusetts yesterday elected Roger Sherman Loomis 1G., Williams '09, of Yokohama, Japan. The scholarship to which he has been appointed carries an annual stipend of $1500 and entitles the holder to study at Oxford for a team of three years, beginning in October, 1910.
