New Haven, Conn., November 2, 1909.--The Yale university football team held a long secret practice today, ending with a scrimmage in which the coaches kept the university team on the defensive for the whole period. The regular corps of coaches was assisted by the following graduates: G. G. Brown '02, R. Bloomer '05, H. Holt '03, and P. L. Veeder '07.
