Harvard Men's Plays at New Theatre

E.G. Knoblauch '96 and E.B. Sheldon '08 are the authors of the two first plays of their kind to be produced at the New Theatre in New York, which gives its opening performance tonight.

"The Cottage in the Air," by E.G. Knoblauch '96, is a light fantastic comedy and will be played for the first time on Thursday evening of this week. It will also run on Saturday evening and matinee and during next week. E.B. Sheldon '08, the author of "Salvation Nell," has written a play entitled "The Nigger," the first serious American drama to be played at the New Theatre. The exact date of the first performance of this play is not decided.
