The Seniors won the interclass tennis championship from the Freshmen Saturday morning, when G.P. Gardner, Jr., '10 defeated A.H. Tomes '13 in straight sets, 6-4, 6-3. In the first set Gardner was erratic and wild, but his playing in the second set showed improvement. This match, added to the four victories of the Seniors on Friday, made the necessary best five out of nine. The score in matches stands 5 to 4, the third match in doubles, F.R. Kirkland '10 and P.T. Large, Jr., '10 vs. S. Minot 13 and J. Munro '13, not being played, since it was immaterial to the final result.
