There will be no competition in the field events this afternoon as scheduled. The track team coaches and captain have decided to postpone the rest of the field event competitions until after the Christmas vacation in order that Coach Quinn may devote more time to individual men in practice. This postponement, however, does not alter the daily practice in the least, or excuse men from it and candidates must report daily just the same.
