The University cross-country squad was sent over the Massachusetts Institute of Technology course yesterday afternoon in a time trial to enable the coaches to select a team for the race with Technology on Friday. The finish was in the following order: P. R. Withington '12, E. L. Viets '11, R. H. Rowse '12, P. C. Heald '11, W. H. Fernald '12, G. Boyd '12, G. R. Harding '11, W. P. Rogers '11, H. W. Bradley '12, C. D. Burrage '11, G. E. Graves '11, W. F. Ryan '11. From these, and H. Y. Masten '10, a veteran from last year who was unable to run yesterday, the ten men that form the team will be chosen. Today the squad will take a long walk.
