On "Characteristic Scenes in Chill, Bolivia, and Peru" in Union at 8.

Professor James H. Brewster of the University of Michigan will deliver an illustrated lecture in the Living Room of the Union this evening at 8 o'clock on "Characteristic Scenes in Chill, Bolivia, and Peru." This lecture will be open only to members of the Union. The slides which Professor Brewster will show this evening, depicting the scenery of South America, are unusually excellent, having gained very favorable comment during his lecture tour of the large western universities last summer.

Professor Brewster was graduated from the Sheffield Scientific School in 1877 and two years later took the degree of LL.B. at the Yale Law School. From 1883 to 1897 he practiced law in Detroit and then entered the faculty of law at the University of Michigan as lecturer on conveyancing. Since 1903 he has held the position of editor of the Michigan Law Review. His lecture this evening will be based on personal experiences and extensive travels among the inhabitants of Chili, Bolivia, and Peru.
