The Sophomores won the first match in the preliminary round of the interclass shoot yesterday afternoon, defeating the Freshmen by the score of 152 to 143. J.C.P. Bartholf '13 was high man of the day, scoring 43 out of a possible 50. S. Mixter '12 was second with 41.
The score:
1912--S. Mixter 41, C.F. Lewis 38, J. Heard, Jr., 37, W.C. Codman 36; total 152.
1913--J.C.P. Bartholf 43, H. Cutting 38, D. Lockwood 35, B.S. Ramsay 27; total 143.
Contrary to the original arrangement, both the shoot between the Seniors and the Juniors and also the finals between the winners of the two preliminary matches will be held this afternoon at 3 o'clock.
The teams will be as follows: 1910--F.A. Brewer, C.L. Hauthaway, B.M. Higginson, C.F. Morse; 1911--F. Ayer, Jr., F. Pearson, F.H. Stone, J.H. Storer.
